APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO. 14-347
Description
The student listed in Expulsion Case No. 14-347, is in violation of School Board Policy. On April 1, 2014, the student listed in Expulsion Case No 14-347, violated School Board Policy 5.322, Possession of Drugs. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from the Sarasota County Schools until May 29, 2015.
Recommendation
That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5.34, the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No. 14-347, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately for the remainder of the 2013-2014 academic year, the 2014 summer session, and the entire 2014-2015 academic year.
